The Board and Trustees

The overall management of Home-Start Lorn is the responsibility of the trustees. Aileen Binner, the local co-ordinator, is responsible for the day to day business. Aileen recruits, selects and prepares volunteers before ‘matching’ them to a family. Gill Cadzow provides the admin support.

The cost of running a Home-Start Scheme is approximately £52,000. Argyll & Bute Council contribute £25,000 towards our cost but the ret of our funding has to be sourced from other Trusts, such as Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland, local fundraising and other donations.
